WHO WE ARE
At Grace, we believe in a loving, merciful God who is living and active in the world. Incredible though it sounds, we're captive to the idea that God calls together faith communities like ours to be participants in God's creative, healing, and reconciling work.
Nourished by God's good news and empowered by God's Spirit, our part in God's mission is characterized by three activities:

We invite all people to come to know the love of Jesus Christ.

We equip people with a growing faith that works in everyday life.

We send people out into the world to witness and serve.
You'll find people from many backgrounds and walks of life brought together at Grace toward this common purpose. Most of all, we are people who stand with our hands open, always in need of just what our name says--God's amazing grace--and grateful that with our amazing God, there is enough to go around!
PART OF SOMETHING BIGGER
We're glad to be a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). The ELCA is one of the largest Christian denominations in the United States, with about 4 million members in nearly 10,000 congregations across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. While we have a rich and distinctive heritage as Lutherans, as a congregation of the ELCA we also enjoy full communion relationships with the Presbyterian Church (USA), the Reformed Church in America, the United Church of Christ, the Episcopal Church, the Moravian Church, and the United Methodist Church. We also continue to live out of our origins as a reforming movement within the Roman Catholic Church, and continue to seek healing and unity in God's church through dialogue, prayer, and acts of service. As we confess in the Nicene Creed, we believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church!
Grace is also connected to Lutheran Christians around the world through the Lutheran World Federation. From displaced persons in refugee camps to countries facing famine to those recovering from natural disasters, people in need are blessed and the light of Christ shines brightly because of the wonderful ways we are organized!
