Leta Willie, Choir Director
Hi! My name is Leta Willie. I am the choir director here at Grace. We have the Grace Choir that sings September-May at our 8:00 service, and the Spirit Choir that sings during our summer worship. I recently retired from teaching 6th grade at Dodgeville Middle School. My husband, Bob, and I live in the country north of Dodgeville and have two adult children, Matthew & Sarah that live and work in Iowa. Music is a huge part of all our lives, "come, let us sing to the Lord".
Lisa Montelbano, Associate Organist
I am delighted to be part of the Grace Lutheran music team where I supplement once a month for Quinn. My grandfather instilled the joy of playing at church in me many years ago. I continue to find contentment and peace in playing. When not playing, I enjoy pulling weeds with my husband near my Mazomanie home and spending time with my family which I can do more now since I am recently retired from teaching.
Karla Vogel, Office Administrator / Financial Secretary
Karla manages the essential duties that help support the congregation, committees and council members, including creating Sunday bulletins, monthly newsletters and milestone events. She also manages day-to-day tasks involving financial matters for the church. She absolutely loves working with people and supporting the ministries of Grace members, who have become like part of her family. In her free time, Karla is involved in her hometown church in Mineral Point, serving as Treasurer and is on various committees, assisting with fund-raising events, landscaping, painting, and more. She loves to travel and be outdoors, whether it’s fishing or kayaking or hiking through the woods--just embracing what wonderful gifts God has provided.

Greta Byers, Preschool Teacher
Greta shares her own walk with Christ by teaching the stories of the Bible and how they relate to our own lives. She loves the kids! They provide the energy and fun that keep her going and enjoying the job of teaching. This age keeps her laughing on a daily basis and remembering her own two boys and how fast they grow. Greta also works part time at Lands' End and has subbed at DES on a regular basis in the past. In her free time, Greta enjoys kayaking, cross country skiing, cooking, walks with her husband, and time with her family. gracechristian.preschool@gmail.com
Patty Steil, Preschool Teacher
Patty has taught at Grace Christian Preschool for over nine years. She loves teaching preschoolers and enjoys the warm and sincere interactions that fill her mornings. Guiding youngsters as they build confidence and relationships is extremely rewarding and she feels blessed to be a part of such a special time in their young lives. Outside of work, she and her husband are in the process of remodeling their home but gladly will take a break for family time...especially when their college aged son can make it home for a weekend! She and her husband, Jim, have three children. Thomas and Olivia are both in high school and Alex is a junior at UW-LaCrosse.
Kathy Standorf, Custodian
I have been a custodian here for over fifteen years. I have met so many wonderful people while working here at Grace. I take pride in my job because so many people depend on our custodians, and it allows us to contribute in a significant way. In my spare time my husband Keith and I enjoy spending time with family; we have two little granddaughters that enjoy camping with us, and of course spending time in my garden.
